LoopFA Mobile App

Introduction

LoopFA is a mobile social application that enables users to share posts with people in defined locations. We provide users with a means to engage large audiences and get aggregated firsthand feedback. Every post has an intended geographical audience and only users who are residents of the defined location can respond to such a post.

There are two types of users:

1. Regular users who can only share posts with their followers.

2. Broadcast users who can broadcast posts to everyone within a specified location. Examples of broadcast users include Governments, Police, etc.

We have provided an AI summarizer that gives a one-page summary of comments on a post. This is a quick way for users to determine the audience's sentiment regarding a post.

Sign UP

1. To use LoopFA, users must sign up on LoopFA using their verifiable email and password. Download LoopFA from Google Play Store or Apple App Store

2. After signing up, click the Create Profile button.

3. On the Create Profile page, fill in your details and select your residence location. This is verified only once, during account creation. Once you are sure your profile information is accurate, click "Save". Your profile will be created and assigned to you.

4. From the profile page, click "Menu" > Home.

On the Home page, you can view your feed. These are posts where you are an audience. You can comment, like, generate summaries, etc.

Create Posts

1. On the home page, click the plus (+) icon on the bottom right corner of the screen.

2. The createPost screen will open. Select the target audience for your post, or make it public by leaving the audience selection blank. It will default to public.

3. Create a topic, and add content, images/photos, videos, etc.

4. Click the Send Icon at the top right-hand side of the screen. You can now view your post via the home page, or by going to your profile page and clicking on posts.

Follow and Unfollow

Social media is more fun when you connect with others.

To follow others, go to your profile page, and scroll to Suggested People to Follow. Scroll through the list of suggestions and follow!

To unfollow a user, visit their profile by clicking on their profile image. On the profile page, click Unfollow.

Chat

You can engage individual users via chat. Just go to chat via the bottom navigation bar. Click on the new chat floating button. Search for the user you would like to engage with. Search by username. Start chat. Share images and videos.

Share Your Posts

You can share links to your posts on other social platforms. Click the share button on your posts and click on External Share.

Summarize Comments

Summarize the comments on your post to get one-page feedback regarding what users think about your post. Click the Summary button on your post to generate the summary.

Report, Dislike

We are doing our best to ensure illegal or objectionable content does not get to LoopFA. If you discover illegal content on LoopFA, report it, and we will take action!

On the post detail page, click on the menu button. Click Report.

If you're not interested in a topic, you can dislike the post, and you won't see that post again. Follow the above steps, and click Dislike.
